Mirko Tomić, On the Occasion of his 100th Birthday

Abstract


Mirko Tomić was born in Kruševo near Mostar on September 28, 1910. He finished the first six grades of high school in Mostar. He subsequently enrolled the High Geodetic School in Sarajevo and than in Beograd and finished high school geodetic education in 1929. He found a job, but also finished two additional grades of high school in Šibenik. Namely, one was required to finish a high school in order to enrol the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. He worked and studied at the same time. He graduated in 1945 and was promoted to a doctor of legal sciences in 1952.
