Abstract


Our honourable Prof. Dr. Dušan Benčić suddenly left us, in Zagreb, on Thursday, September 30, 2010. He was seen to his resting place at the Mirogoj cemetery by a parish priest from St. Kvirin’s Church in Pantovčak, on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. In the name of the Laboratory for Measurement and Measuring Technique of the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb, Prof. Nikola Solarić and Mr. Neven Zoković, on behalf of the Croatian Society of Eye Opticians talked about life and work of Prof. Dušan Benčić.
