Abstract


5th International Conference on Engineering Surveying was held on the Brijuni Islands from 22 to 24 September 2011. The conference organizers were the Department of Surveying Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the Institute for Applied Geodesy at the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb, with the FIG Commission 6. The conference was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Physical Planning and Construction of the Republic of Croatia. The conference took place in the Castrum Congress Hall of Hotel Neptun-Istra. The official language of the conference was English. The conference was attended by 70 representatives from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Kosovo, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Czech Republic and Slovakia, and a total of 40 papers were presented.
