Abstract


The organiser of the 28th International Cartography Conference was the Cartography and Geographic Information Society (CaGIS), and the organising committee was headed by E. Lynn Usery, Vice-President of the International Cartographic Association (ICA).
The conference was held in the largest hotel in Washington, the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel, in the capital of the Unites States of America.
