The Fifth International Conference on Cartography and GIS was held in the Riviera summer resort near Varna in Bulgaria from June 15 to 21, 2014. The conference was organized by the Bulgarian Cartographic Association (BCA), International Cartographic Association (ICA) and the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) from Sofia, Bulgaria. The conference was sponsored by Prof. Dr. Krasimir Petrov, rector of the Bulgarian University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geo-desy.
