Abstract


The 4th International Conference on Cartography and GISwas held from 18 to 22 June, 2012 in summer resort of Bulgaria, Albena – the pearl of Bulgarian coast. The conference was organized by the Bulgarian Cartographic Association (BCA), International Cartographic Association (ICA) and the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) from Sofia, Bulgaria. The patron of the conference was Mrs. Kristalina Georgieva, Bulgarian EU commissioner, whose support was crucial for maintaining a high European level and attracting participants from around theworld.
