Abstract


Science Festival 2013, the grea­test Croatian project for popula­rizing science was held from April 22 to 27, 2013. It was organized by the University of Zagreb, British Council and the Technical Museum in Za­greb, sponsored by the Croatian Mini­stry of Science, Education and Sport. Future was the central theme of the 6-day event. Like previous years, the Festival also tackled other interesting and educational scien­tific themes. 

This year's Festival was held in 10 Croatian cities, more than 100 locations and 900 participants participated in creating more than 550 different activities. The Technical Museum in Zagreb was the central place, where as many as 210 participants organized 81 workshops, 52 presentations, 49 lectures and 2 sci-cafes. In addition to activities in the Technical Museum, there were also 5 exhibitions, 5 film projections and one interactive kiosk.
