The 31st Conference of the International Cartographic Association (ICA/ACI, International Cartographic Association / Association Cartographique Internationale) was held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 13th to 18th August. 845 cartographers and other experts in the field of cartography and related geoinformation sciences participated in the conference.
