Abstract


On 29 October 2018, Darko Šiško defended his doctoral dissertation Geoinformation Land Use Model as a Basis for Urban Area Strategic Planning at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb. His mentors were Professor Tihomir Jukić from the Faculty of Architecture and Associate Professor Vlado Cetl from the Faculty of Geodesy of the University of Zagreb. The doctoral dissertation was defended before an examination committee which consisted of Professor Jesenko Horvat and Associate Professor Sanja Gašparović from the Faculty of Architecture and Professor Siniša Mastelić Ivić from the Faculty of Geodesy of the University of Zagreb. They also sat on the doctoral dissertation committee. The research was carried out with the support of the Development of Multifunctional Land Administration System (DEMLAS) project, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, HRZZ-IP-2013-11-7714.
