Geodetic Journals in the Emerging Sources Citation Index

Nedjeljko Frančula

Abstract

In addition to the well-known citation indices Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI), since 2015 Thomson Reuters has been producing a new index, Emerging Science Citation Index (ESCI). All of them are included in the Web of Science. ESCI includes journals of regional importance and journals associated with emerging scientific fields. If they satisfy Thomson Reuters’ criteria, journals included in ESCI are going to be included into SCIE, SSCI or A&HCI. Impact factor is not calculated for journals included in ESCI (currently 2589 journals).
