Contemporary Cartography at the International Map Exhibition Paris, 3-8 July 2011

Abstract


The International Map Exhibition was organized at the 25th International Cartographic Conference (ICA), which was held from July 3 to July 8, 2011 in Paris in France. Countries members of the International Cartographic Association were invited to participate. Croatian cartography was successfully introduced at the previous conferences held in Cologne, Barcelona, Stockholm, Ottawa, Beijing, Durban, A Coruña, Moscow and Chile. Thus were photomap of Velika Gorica (Ottawa 1999) and photomap of Upper Town of Zagreb (Beijing 2001) awarded for excellence in the category of maps of towns and in category of maps for recreation and orientation, respectively.
